Six Sentence Sunday (Starting Small)

I'm working my way back into writing gradually.  My fiancĂ© still needs a lot of love and support (as do I, though not as much) and that takes time away from my writing, but I don't care.  Some things are more important.  The easiest writing thing for me is Six Sentence Sunday.  I may not be able to read many other sixers, but its an easy way to work my way back into writing.  So here we go!

Last time I posted for SSS I shared six sentences that left you wondering "What is going on between these girls?"  I hope that today's answers that question.  Here are six more sentences that may or may not make it to the final draft of The Mythical Male (especially since this part is borderline info-dump).  It's part of a blog Ziki is reading, wondering if everything she knows is a lie and learning the awful truth about her home.

...The tiny test-tube babies are given an extremely high risk for genetic defects when mad scientists force two ova to merge.  As if that was not already an atrocity, it makes the gene pool far too small to be healthy.  This is only the beginning of a dismal life these Eleins are sentenced to live.
Once the child is picked up from the baby store by a “mother” who has never experienced nature’s bonding mechanisms, the child is fed lies her entire life.  “Normal” is an existence free from interdependency.  The only acceptable relationships are friendships, sisterhood, and of course motherhood.

I hope this gave you some answers to last week, but wondering more about this world I'm building.  Make sure you check out other great writers by clicking the icon at the top of the post.

LOA

I will be taking a leave of absence from my writing.  There has been a family tragedy and keeping up with my blog and WIP are at the bottom of my list of priorities.  I hope to be back soon.  Writing is very therapeutic, but not what I need right now.
